This Christmas Wordle game is an entertaining variation on the basic Wordle game. Unlike the original Wordle game, which has practically endless words, this one includes over 60 five-letter Christmas words. The best part is that you can play Christmas Wordle online for free as often as you want.

How to Play Christmas Wordle.

• Enter the five-letter Christmas word into the five-by-six grid as best you can. A physical keyboard or a virtual one is available to you.
• The game will color the boxes of the letters in the word based on their appearance and where in the correct word after you make your guess.
• The box turns grey when an appropriate letter is absent and yellow when an improper letter is present.
• The letter is correctly positioned and part of the word when it is in a green box. When a row of green cells appears, it means you guessed the word correctly.
• The characters on the virtual keyboard are lit in a similar way to those in the cells.
• After six trials, if you guess the word incorrectly, you will receive two prompts. One prompt shows the correct word, while the other says, "You've run out of guesses!" "Try again."
• Click the "Try a new word" link above the cells to try again, regardless of how accurate or incorrect your guess was.

What the colors represent.

• Grey: The letter is not in the word.
• Yellow: The letter appears in the word but is not in the proper location.
• Green: The letter is in the word and in the correct place.
