Clueless Crossword
Think you've mastered traditional crossword puzzles? Clueless Crossword provides a new, strategic challenge for puzzle fans. This game challenges your vocabulary and reasoning in a new and fascinating way by offering all of the vowels upfront while leaving the consonants to you to figure out.
How to Play Clueless Crossword
Each word in the Clueless Crossword starts with vowels that are already filled in and consonants that are empty. By themselves, these consonants don't provide the solution, but they do provide clues. At the very bottom of the screen is an alphabet with 26 letters that players must select to complete the game. When you hover your cursor over a blank block in the grid, you may view every instance of that letter. Trends can be more easily identified in this way. A letter is added to the puzzle every time you click on a block and choose one. To swiftly remove typos, hit the checkbox next to the letters.
In the upper right area, the game keeps track of your time, which makes it more competitive. If you get stuck, pressing the suggestion button will show you a letter. However, each suggestion will add 20 seconds to your total time, which will make you think strategically and credit you for solving the problem thoroughly.
