Jndle
Jndle is a word-guessing game based on the popular game Wordle. It shares a similar premise but has distinct rules and gameplay components. Josh Wardle initially conceived the game, and Samuel Lo later updated it with additional contributions from GHolk.
In the Jndle game, the goal is to guess a five-letter word using Cangjie codes. Cangjie is an input method for Chinese characters that uses a sequence of symbolic codes. Each Cangjie code denotes a particular component or stroke of a Chinese character.
The game gives feedback for each guess by altering the color of the boxes. There are three different colors:
- Green: The guess's code and position are correct.
- Yellow: The guess code is correct, but the position is incorrect.
- Red: The guess does not correspond to any code in the response.
The player has six opportunities to guess the proper word. The task is to deduce the correct word from the game's feedback.
It's worth mentioning that the Jndle game offers a novel and intriguing approach to mixing word guessing and Cangjie codes, adding another dimension of complexity and challenge to gaming.
