Finding the most words in each of Word Ruffle's three levels within the allotted three minutes is the objective of the game. With varying amounts of letter tiles available, the game's three difficulty levels offer a wide range of challenges. Longer words score better, but players get points for every word they find. There is also a significant bonus score available if you find all of the words in a level.
How to Play Word Ruffle
Each Word Ruffle game consists of three successive stages, each of which increases the difficulty.
- Level 1: six letters.
- Level 2: seven letters.
- Level 3: 8 letters.
For a more leisurely experience, you can choose or disable the regular duration of each round, which is three minutes.
From the provided tiles, you must form words with three or more letters. Each authorised word is worth points, with longer words yielding more points. One of these options will take you to the next level:
- Gather 60 per cent or more of the points that can be earned.
- Find the unique "full-letter" word that includes all available letters.
Completing every potential word in a level earns a bonus score, which rewards both speed and thoroughness.

- Ruffle shuffles the letters, revealing new combinations.
- Last replenishes the previous word, which is handy for adding suffixes like "-s" or "-ed.".
