Vertical Wordle
The word-guessing game Vertical Wordle has a distinct twist while adhering to the same principles as the classic Wordle. Rather than guessing a horizontally placed word, participants must predict a vertically positioned word in six attempts. After each guess, the tiles' color changes to show how close the guess was to the letter in that column.
The game works by inserting the solution word in the bottom row, and the color of the letters in the grid determines the word below. When a player correctly guesses the sixth word, they spell the word horizontally and display the colors normally.
The object of the game is to guess the word in the fewest attempts possible. Each guess yields information on which letters are part of the word, which belong in the proper spot, and which are entirely unrelated to the term. To reflect this feedback, the tiles' colors change, with green representing a letter that is both in the word and in the correct location, yellow representing a letter that is in the word but not in the correct position, and gray representing a letter that does not appear in the word at all.
Vertical Wordle is a fun and challenging game in which players must use their vocabulary and logical reasoning to accurately guess the word. It is an excellent technique to assess and develop one's vocabulary and pattern recognition ability.
How to Play Vertical Wordle.
The game's objective is to guess a hidden word. In six tries, vertically guess the word.
After each guess, the tiles' color changes to show how close you are to the letter in that column.
Suppose that the answer word is in the bottom row and that the word below corresponds to the color of the letters in the grid. If you reach the sixth guess, the word will be spelled horizontally and colored normally.
All gray letters do not appear in the word in any location.
